Who we are

Pillars of Wisdom provides workplace training and HR consultancy services to organisations in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

You can contact us about privacy matters at hr@pillarsofwisdom.co.uk.

What we collect

Enquiry and booking details: your name, organisation, email address, telephone number, the training you are interested in, preferred dates and any context you choose to share.

Client and invoicing details: billing contact, billing address, invoice line items, payment status and payment history.

Payment data: we do not collect or store card details. Card payments are processed by Stripe, and we receive only a confirmation, the amount, the last portion of the card record Stripe exposes and the payer's name and email.

Website data: basic technical information such as pages requested, needed to operate and secure the site.

Why we use it

To deliver training and consultancy you or your employer have booked (contract).

To raise and collect invoices, keep accounting records and meet tax obligations (contract and legal obligation).

To send service emails such as booking confirmations, invoices, payment receipts and reminders (contract and legitimate interests).

Who we share it with

Our accountant and HMRC where required for tax and accounting purposes.

We never sell personal data or use it for third-party marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become bookings: up to 24 months.

Client, booking, invoice and payment records: seven years from the end of the relevant accounting period, to meet UK statutory requirements.

Training attendance records: up to six years, or longer where a client requires evidence of completion.

You have the right to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to data portability where applicable.
